Our parent company, Musket Transport, is funding an AZ scholarship program for Ukrainian newcomers in the Greater Toronto Area. Training will be provided by our expert instructors at Commercial Heavy Equipment Training -CHET. Following the conclusion of their training and successful road tests, successful graduates will have the opportunity to apply to work at Musket. This scholarship is specifically for a class AZ Tractor-Trailer license. Typically, a student will take 8 weeks to complete training for a 200 hour program. If there are language challenges it may take longer.
Primary applicant requirements include an ESL Level 6+, age 18 and older, and an Ontario G license. If the applicant is currently enrolled in ESL classes and undergoing testing for the G license, they may still apply and indicate it in the application below.
Навчання проводитимуть досвідчені інструктори автошколи CHET (Commercial Heavy Equipment Training). По завершенні навчання та успішної здачі обов’язкових теоретичних та практичних екзаменів, випускники/випускниці матимуть можливість подати заяву на роботу до транспортної компанії Musket.
Компанія пропонує пройти курс підготовки водіїв тягача із напівпричепом, обладнаних пневмогальмами (категорія AZ).
Зазвичай, повний 200-годинний курс триває 8 тижнів, але за наявності складнощів зі сприйняттям матеріалу, що викладається англійською мовою, проходження програми може тривати довше.
Основні вимоги до кандидатів/кандидаток:
- вік від 18 років,
- володіння англійською мовою на рівні ESL 6 або вище,
- видане у провінції Онтаріо водійське посвідчення категорії G.
Якщо заявник/заявниця зараз навчається на мовних курсах ESL і знаходиться у процесі отримання місцевого посвідчення водія категорії G, він/вона також можуть скористатися цією пропозицією, зазначивши це у заяві, що її наведено нижче».
